Job overview:

You will be the foremost technical interface to Archwave customers in both pre- and post-sales and act as the key link between Archwave sales and engineering teams. In this role, you will directly support sales managers as the technical expert on the Archwave product portfolio to secure design wins and manage the technical support of our customers worldwide through the design-in phase all the way to product end of life. You will establish and maintain close technical ties to the customer account to facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues and to also identify new opportunities with existing accounts.

In addition to the above, you will also act as an active interface from our customers to our internal departments like Engineering and Marketing. The function will be based out of our offices in Schwerzenbach or home office with regular travel to head-office. 

Your main responsibilities are:·      

  • Handle pre-sales technical discussions of sales leads in order to define the technical customer requirements.

  • Maintain customer relations via phone or e-mail, and organize regular customer follow up in order to assess product and service satisfaction and to identify new opportunities.

  • Support in-depth technical evaluation periods at customers.

  • Write application notes and other documentation that can ease the customer’s implementation of our technologies.

  • Accompany sales managers on domestic and international travels when required, and participate in technical conference calls as a technical expert.

  • Support participation of Archwave in international trade shows, exhibitions and industry events by technical demos.

  • Actively translate customer requirements, market trends and intelligence into engineering proposals and future feature requests in order keep improving and enhancing our technologies.

Desired Skills & Experience:· 

  • BA/BS in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent successful experience in a similar role.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical customer support, application engineering or technical sales role

  • Experience in at least one of the market segments professional audio, commercial sound, broadcast, consumer audio

  • Strong technical understanding of audio-networking technologies, related hard- en software

  • Read mechanical and electronical blueprints and have a solid understanding of electronic and mechanical design.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work through technical issues with customers

  • Fluency in verbal and written English language, as well as proficient in German is required

  • Proven Project Management skills

  • Willing to travel internationally up to 40% of your time
